Information Systems

The information systems staff manage the computerized information systems of the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office, Siskiyou County Jail, Siskiyou County Probation department, and the Charlie Byrd Youth Correctional Facility. Staff are responsible for:

  • Engineering and management of computer networks and client workstations.
  • Manage and develop database systems and on-line information systems including integration into other information systems.
  • Provide access to County information systems.
  • Operate and manage a secured network and datacenter.
  • Prepares an information technology budget.
  • Manages integration and access into the California Department of Justice (DOJ) data network.
  • Manages criminal identification information and Livescan (Fingerprinting) systems.
  • Provide facilities and management of the Siskiyou County Internet Access.
  • Provide network monitoring and security services for the Criminal Justice Network and Siskiyou County Networks.
  • Provide technical assistance to the Siskiyou County Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
  • Provide technical support for the Emergency Command Post (ECP).
  • Provide disaster recovery for information systems.
  • 9-1-1 and Computer Aided Dispatching support.
  • Modify and develop computer code when necessary.
  • Manage various criminal justice information technology projects.
